Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) organise and run the event in association with Dubai Sports Council and Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment.

This unique and impressive indoor arena will amaze even the most experienced sport fanatic. Dubai Sports World runs throughout the summer months until August 31. Sports include football, rugby, basketball and cricket to name a few.

2012 will see DWTC partner with several leading sport academies include IFA Sports, Tennis360, MPAC Sports and Maxtalent Global Cricket Training Institute.

“The second edition of Dubai Sports World has grown, both in size and calibre since its debut last year, with a number of new sports academies that have come on board,” Helal Saeed Almarri, CEO of Dubai World Trade Centre, told the Khaleej Times. “Through the support of our strategic partners, we have created a unique environment that promotes health and wellbeing, as well as a platform for families to come together. With Modesh World taking place at DWTC alongside other community events, DWTC has set its position as the place to be for residents and visitors this summer.”

This year, Dubai Sports World will introduce a brand new 660m indoor running track around the perimeter of the venue and a Skate park. They will also be hosting a Summer Sports Majlis for visitors until July 1.
